An Evening of "Material Narratives: Stone in Design"

Last Thursday, LTAA, in collaboration with EİB (Aegean Natural Stones and Minerals Exporters’ Associations), hosted a special evening celebrating celebrating EİB’s participation in Surface Design Show 2026. The gathering brought together architects, designers, and industry professionals for a focused dialogue on the timeless value of natural stone and its evolving significance within contemporary architectural and design practices.
The highlight of the evening was a special presentation by Paola Blasi (Arup), who shared valuable insights into material-led design thinking and the strategic role of natural stone in today's projects.
The programme concluded with curated bites and cocktails, followed by a vibrant networking reception that created a relaxed setting for meaningful exchange and new connections across the design and construction community.
